چکیده

Obtaining such substances-platforms as, in particular, 5-hydroxymethylfurfural is one of the areas most actively investigated at present. They can act as raw materials for further production a new generation biopolymers, fuels, pharmaceuticals, dietary supplements, and other chemicals. This paper reports catalysts, synthesized by using methods ion exchange impregnation, based on large-pore zeolites X, Y, M, which contain cations rubidium, lanthanum, calcium, ammonium. It was found that zeolites' specific surface 400?500 m2/g; selected synthesis conditions did not cause noticeable destruction microporous structure. In presence glucose dehydration aqueous medium dimethyl sulfoxide carried out 150–160 °C. Dehydration of Glucose to 5‐Hydroxymethylfurfural Using Nb‐doped Tungstite

Dehydration of glucose to 5-hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF) remains a significant problem in the context of the valorization of lignocellulosic biomass. Hydrolysis of WCl6 and NbCl5 leads to precipitation of Nb-containing tungstite (WO3 ⋅H2 O) at low Nb content and mixtures of tungstite and niobic acid at higher Nb content. Tungstite is a promising catalyst for the dehydration of glucose to HMF. Co...

Integrated chemo-enzymatic production of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural from glucose.

Sweets for my sweet: The production and isolation of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF) in high yield and purity is demonstrated by using a combination of glucose-fructose isomerization with sweetzyme in wet tetraethylammonium bromide (TEAB) and clean fructose dehydration to HMF catalyzed by using HNO₃ under moderate conditions, which allow the reuse of any unreacted glucose and TEAB.

Very efficient conversion of glucose to 5-hydroxymethylfurfural in DBU-based ionic liquids with benzenesulfonate anion

Efficient conversion of glucose to 5-hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF), an important platform molecular for fuels and chemicals, is a promising topic in green chemistry. In this work, several new DBU-based (DBU = 1,8-diazabicyclo[5.4.0]undec-7-ene) ionic liquids (ILs) with benzene sulfonate (BS) anion were synthesized and used as the solvents for the dehydration of glucose to HMF. It was found that a...

Pore size analysis of >250,000 hypothetical zeolites.

Computational methods have been used in the past to generate large libraries of hypothetical zeolite structures, but to date analysis of these structures has typically been limited to relatively simple physical properties such as density. We use efficient methods to analyze the adsorption and diffusion properties of simple adsorbate molecules in a library of >250,000 hypothetical silica zeolite...
